1. What cookies and browser storage are

Cookies are small files your browser saves. Local storage, IndexedDB and the app cache are places in the browser where the app keeps data on your device. They let Egzamy remember your sign-in, your language and your progress, even offline.

2. Why we do not ask for consent

  1. Consent is not needed when storing or reading information is strictly necessary to provide a service you asked for (Article 399(3) of the Polish Electronic Communications Law).
  2. Everything we store is necessary: for sign-in, security, remembering your language or keeping your study data on your device. That is why there is no consent banner.
  3. If we ever add something that is not necessary (for example analytics), we will ask for consent first and update this page.

4. Anonymous usage counts

  1. We count how often the atlas and games are opened, to know whether they are worth developing. The counters live only in the tab's memory and are sent without cookies, Account, IP address or content.
  2. Nothing is stored on your device for this, apart from your choice in Settings.
  3. You can turn them off in Settings → Your data ("Share anonymous usage counts"). A "Do Not Track" or "Global Privacy Control" signal turns them off automatically.

5. Stripe's payment page

When you go to payment, Stripe's page opens (checkout.stripe.com). Stripe sets its own cookies there, for example to prevent fraud, under its own privacy and cookie policy. We have no access to them.

6. Managing cookies and data

  1. Delete your study data in Settings → Your data. Delete cookies and other data in your browser settings ("Clear site data").
  2. Blocking the necessary cookies or browser storage stops sign-in and saving your progress.
  3. More about personal data: Privacy policy.
